STOWE, VT., April 1, 2024 — Bee’s Wrap announces a partnership with Whole Foods Market to hold a “Feed the Bees” campaign nationwide beginning on April 20th.
Bee’s Wrap and Whole Foods Market will be accepting customers’ plastic waste at all Whole Foods Market locations in the U.S. and in return a honeybee plant will be given to take home. Bee’s Wrap will also be donating 10% of proceeds of Bee’s Wrap’s products from Whole Foods Market to the American Bee Foundation. The customers are encouraged to post his or her plant at home to social media with the hashtags #feedthebees and #worldbeeday. The campaign will span over a month leading to World Bee Day, May 20, to provide nutrients to bees after the cold winter when pollen is limited to the bees.
”Our largest priority is to spread awareness for bees and give back to the community. The best way to create change is not only to stop any negative practices being used, but incorporate a way to spread positive practices,” said Sarah Kaeck, Found of Bee’s Wrap.
Plastic consumption continues to rise in the U.S. producing 42 million metric tons of plastic per year. To raise awareness regarding plastic waste in the community and to draw attention to the impact of global warming, Bee’s Wrap and Whole Foods Market will hold the campaign “Feed the Bees.”
